WHITE RIVER TRAIL

The White River Trail is a scenic, multi-use trail in Walworth County along a former railroad bed that allows visitors to bike, hike and even ride on horseback. All cyclists 16 years and older need a trail pass — $5 for the day or $25 for the year — that
can be purchased at any trail access location.

AVANT CYCLES

Avant Cycles in Lake Geneva offers bike services such as tune-ups, new bike sales and pedal-assist e-bike rentals. Avant Cycles also hosts a variety of group bike rides and posts suggested local biking routes on its website, including the 20-mile “Around the Lake,” which will take you past both Geneva Lake and Lake Como.

ANNUAL FAT TIRE CHARITY RIDE

This annual, go-at-your-own-pace fundraising bike ride takes place in September and supports a variety of local charities, including Tree House Child & Family Center, Holiday Home Camp, Walworth County Special Olympics and many others. The 21 1⁄2-mile route over paved roads around Geneva Lake and Lake Como departs from Champs Sports Bar and Grill or The Ridge Resort. After completing the ride, riders celebrate with a pig roast.
