Easter is on Sunday, April 20th this year, so get out and celebrate holiday and the spring season with a variety of festivities around the Lake Geneva area. Get ready to hunt for eggs, nibble on delicious treats, get crafty and hop on board the bunny train — fun for the whole family!
Delavan
Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m.
Where: Phoenix Park, 111 E. Wisconsin St., Delavan
Details: Get your basket ready for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt in Phoenix Park with six age-specific areas for children ages 1-12. There will be big ticket “Golden Egg” winners in each age group and participants can get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Please bring your own basket.

Annual Easter Champagne Brunch & Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, April 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 1878 on the Lake at Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan
Details: Start the morning with an egg hunt, beginning at 9 a.m. on the dot. There will be three different age groups for the hunt: 0-5 years, 6-12 years and ages 13 and up. Easter brunch will be served, and will include seasonal greens, charcuterie, a carving station, seafood a variety of entrees and desserts. A children’s buffet is also available. Complimentary professional family photos will be offered for all guests and brunch patrons.

Easter with Mommy & Me
When: Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m.
Where: Wilted Rose Resale & Gifts, 2931 Union St., East Troy
Details: Welcome spring by making a variety of Easter crafts! Attendees can decorate their own Easter basket, create an adorable shelf sitter or put together a festive shadowbox. All supplies, including grass and plastic eggs for the Easter basket, are included.
Cost: Easter Basket Project: $15 in advance, $18 at the door

East Troy Railroad Bunny Trains
When: April 12, 13, 18, 19; ride times from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: East Troy Railroad, 2002 Church St., East Troy
Details: Board the Bunny Train for a true spring adventure with this two-hour event! Guests will take a 30 -minute train ride to The Elegant Farmer, spend an hour at the Bunny Hutch at The Elegant Farmer and enjoy the scenic, 30-minute train ride back to the East Troy Depot.

Easter Egg Hunt and Helicopter Jump
When: Sunday, April 20, noon
Where: Skydive Milwaukee, W1341 County Rd L, East Troy
Details: Who says bunnies can’t fly? The event will begin inside with family photos with the Easter Bunny at noon. The Easter Bunny will then take to the sky at 1 p.m. for a thrilling helicopter jump to kick off the egg hunt! There will be a special area just for parents and kids, plus refreshments.
Cost: Free, donations are appreciated
Give back while you celebrate —The Sky Knights will be collecting canned goods and monetary donations for the East Troy Food Pantry throughout the day.
Elkhorn
Flashlight Egg Hunt
When: Thursday, April 17, at dusk
Where: Sunset Park Band Shell, 200 Devendorf St., Elkhorn
Details: Get your flashlight and basket ready for an evening excursion! Hosted by the Elkhorn Recreation Department, children ages 8-14 years can storm the field to gather Easter eggs filled with candy, small toys and prizes. The hunt will begin at dusk, please bring your own flashlight and basket.
Cost: Elkhorn resident: $7, non-resident: $10

Details: Spend the weekend celebrating Easter with crafts, an egg hunt and family fun! There will be plenty of photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny as well as face painting, games and activities. Hunts are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m, and guests should meet at the Harbor Patio.

Genoa City Lions Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hun
When: Saturday, April 12, 8-11 a.m.
Where: Brookwood Middle School, 1020 Hunters Ridge Dr., Genoa City
Details: Enjoy delicious fluffy pancakes and sausage for breakfast with the Genoa City Lions Club before partaking in an Easter Egg hunt organized by the Flame Throwers 4-H. The Easter Egg hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. and children will get to meet the Easter Bunny!

Details: Peter Cottontail invites you for a gigantic egg hunt, featuring over 2,000+ eggs! There will also be prizes. The outdoor hunt begins at 11:45 a.m., followed by photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Brunch will begin at 12:30 p.m. and include refreshing spring selections including made-to-order omelets, a breakfast station, fresh salads, specialty displays, assortment of meats and seafoods, as well as desserts, including a chocolate fountain.
