Celebrate Chicago’s railway history and the 100th anniversary of the museum’s three Chicago elevated trains. There will also National Park rangers from Indiana Dunes State Park on hand to explain the history of the South Shore Line and the connection to the museum’s collection of the line’s cars from the 1920s.
