Celebrate Chicago’s railway history with a revival of the Chicago, South Shore & South Bend railroad of 90 years ago. National Park rangers from Indiana Dunes State Park will be on hand to explain the history of the South Shore Line and the connection to the museum’s collection of the line’s cars from the 1920s.
