Violinist Frank Almond,concertmaster for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, joins the LGSO for a performance of Bruch’s G Minor Violin Concerto.  Also on the program is the virtuosic Organ Symphony by Saint-Saëns, who dedicated the work to pianist and composer Franz List.  The Organ Symphony is one of the pillars of symphonic repertoire, and is notable in part for its use of two pianos and a massive organ, which will be played by pianists Bethany Hartlaub and David Newman, and organist Max Yount.
