The Fourth of July is almost here, and the Lake Geneva area is preparing for spectacular fireworks displays to celebrate. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, you will find plenty of options for fun Independence Day fireworks festivities. We’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Fourth of July fireworks this year.
A few tips for enjoying the fireworks:
- Arrive early to snag a good spot.
- If arriving by car, be prepared for parking fees.

City of Elkhorn Star Spangled Celebration
Date: June 28, 2024 RESCHEDULED FOR June 29, 2024
Time: 5-10 p.m., food starts at 5 p.m., music at 7:30 p.m., fireworks at dusk
Location: Sunset Park, 200 Devendorf St., Elkhorn
What’s Happening: Enjoy live patriotic music from the Holton Band, kids’ activities and food
from Elkhorn 4-H and Elkhorn FFA.

Lake Lawn Queen Fireworks Boat Tour
Date: June 29, 2024
Time: Starting at 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Location: Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan
What’s Happening: This three-hour cruise will start boarding at 7:30 p.m., offering a leisurely
journey around the lake while taking in the breathtaking sunset and the Town of Delavan
fireworks display.
Cost: $65 per adult, $40 for children 4-12, free for children under 3.

Town of Delavan Lakefest and Independence Day Celebration
Date: June 29, 2024
Time: Fireworks at dusk
Location: Community Park, 1220 S. Shore Dr., Delavan
What’s Happening: Celebrate lakeside with an art fair, raffle, kids’ fishing contest, cornhole
tournament and more. Stay for the Town of Delavan fireworks at dusk.
Cost: Free admission for Lakefest.

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
Date: July 3, 2024
Time: Dusk (around 9:15 p.m.)
Location: 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva
What’s Happening: Grand Geneva Resort & Spa hosts an all-day celebration with al fresco dining and family-friendly activities. The fireworks show here is excellent; resort guests or diners with reservations get the best views.
Cost: July 3rd festivities are only open to resort, dining, golf and spa guests. Reservations required. Day activities and dining have charges; fireworks viewing is free.

Lake Geneva Country Club Fireworks

What’s Happening: This is a private event for club members, but you can catch glimpses of
fireworks from the east end of Lake Geneva even if you are not a member.

What’s Happening: Experience fireworks from a boat tour. Enjoy lakeshore sights, order from
the full bar and witness the colorful display.

The Abbey Resort

Location: 269 Fontana Blvd, Fontana-On-Geneva Lake
What’s Happening: The Abbey Resort hosts a day of family-friendly activities and live music
with a great location to view the Fontana fireworks. Hit all of the fun inflatable activities with the
purchase of a “Freedom Wristband.”
Cost: $30 for each Freedom Wristband ($25 for guests of The Abbey Resort).

City of Delavan Flag Ceremony & Fireworks

Time: Pancake breakfast starting at 7 a.m.; events throughout the day; flag ceremony and

Location: Activities throughout downtown Delavan; flag ceremony and fireworks at Congdon

What’s Happening: Enjoy a full day of celebrations, including a pancake breakfast, live music,
parade, and fireworks.

Geneva National Resort & Club Fireworks
Date: July 4, 2024
Time: Festivities start at 5 p.m., fireworks at dusk
Location: Geneva National Clubhouse, 1221 Geneva National Ave S, Lake Geneva
What’s Happening: Enjoy food, lawn games, face painting, and live music by DJ Felix leading
up to the fireworks.
Note: This is a ticketed event open to overnight guests, Geneva National members GN
Community residents only. For others, fireworks are viewable from the south shore of Lake
Como.
Cost: $55 for adults, $22 for children. Ticket sales close July 4 at noon.

Village of Fontana-on-Geneva Lake Fireworks

Location: South Lake Shore Dr., Fontana-on-Geneva Lake
What’s Happening: Fontana offers a fantastic fireworks display. For best viewing, find spots at
Fontana Beach, Reid Park or along the west end of Lake Geneva.
Cost: Free to view fireworks; parking fee in the village of Fontana is $2 per hour.
Lauderdale Lakes Yacht Club Independence Day Fireworks
Date: July 6, 2024
Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Don Jean Bay, Elkhorn
What’s Happening: Anchor your boat in Don Jean Bay for the 2024 Annual Lauderdale Lakes Yacht Club Independence Day Fireworks. Tune in to WLKG 96.1 FM for synchronized patriotic music. For those viewing from the Lauderdale Lakes Golf Club, parking is available AFTER 8:30 p.m.
