One in eight women will have a breast cancer diagnosis, meaning many of us have a friend or relative battling the disease. Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is helping support women in this battle by observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October with pink fountains, pink food and drinks, pink spa services, pink golf and more, with donations supporting a local cause.
If guests book a stay in October through the Breast Cancer Awareness Package, $25 of each room night will be donated to the Aurora Health Care Foundation – Breast Cancer Fund at Wisconsin Aurora Health Care. In addition, the following events through the month of October help support the breast cancer fund:
- Pink Frappuccinos – Café Gelato at Grand Geneva will donate $.50 for every Strawberry and Crème Frappuccino sold
- Pink Hair Extensions & Pink Manicures/Pedicures – WELL Spa + Salon at Grand Geneva will donate $2 for every pink hair extension service or pink nail polish (manicure or pedicure) service
- Pink Golf – The Highlands Golf Course at Grand Geneva will donate $1 for every pink ball or tee shirt sold, and will also feature pink flags and cup liners on the course
- Pink fountains will also welcome guests when they arrive at the Grand Geneva
