Submit your lake-loving canine for possible inclusion in our Autumn 2023 Lake Dogs feature
Do you have a lake-loving pup that you think would be perfect in our popular Lake Dogs photo portfolio? The submission period is now open! This year, we’ve streamlined the process of submitting your dog(s), to make it as easy as possible and ensure fairness in the process. The entry form is now online, and the submission period will be open from March 1 through April 14.
We’re also trying something new and exciting this year: the first 10 submissions will be entered into a People’s Choice poll on our website. This means that the sooner you submit, the better your chances for inclusion in the People’s Choice! Keep your eye on our Facebook, Instagram and website to see when voting opens. The rest of the Lake Dogs are chosen by our panel of judges at the conclusion of the submission period.
If selected, you will be contacted by May 12, 2023, to arrange a photoshoot with our photographer. (Please note that photoshoots do not necessarily guarantee inclusion in the final layout.) If you are not selected this year, please submit again next year! Entries do not roll over year-to-year.
