What better way to enjoy Delavan Lake than from the deck of a luxury tour boat? The Lake Lawn Queen, a 76-foot, two- level cruise boat, will begin its 2020 tour schedule the last week of April, weather permitting, according to John Boler, marketing director for the resort.

The boat, which can accommodate up to 78 people, will conduct a variety of Delavan Lake tours for the public. Early in the season, afternoon lake tours will be offered on Saturdays, with Sundays and Wednesdays added to the schedule during the peak summer season. In addition to afternoon lake tours, the schedule will include a variety of enhanced options, including breakfast and dinner cruises, sunset cruises, holiday and special event cruises and Frank Lloyd Wright cruises, highlighting five historic homes that are built along Delavan Lake’s shores.

The Lake Lawn Queen will also be available for private charters for corporate functions, weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and other functions. According to Boler, the tour boat will help the resort continue to differentiate itself and build upon its strong momentum in the banquet and wedding business.

Acquired last year from an owner/ operator in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the vessel has been completely renovated with new interior and exterior elements, including full bar, galley, lounge seating, climate control units, video screens and a multi- channel sound system to ensure the best possible cruising experience.

“The addition of the Lake Lawn Queen demonstrates Lake Lawn Resort’s ongoing commitment to providing unique and high-quality experiences that guests and clients desire,” says Dave Sekeres, Lake Lawn Resort general manager. “This new asset complements our current offerings at the resort and brings a new dimension to help guests and our community celebrate and enjoy beautiful Delavan Lake.”
