Best Spots for Live Music in the Lake Geneva Area

Live music is a balm for the soul and it is something that we have desperately missed over the past months during the COVID-19 pandemic. The great news is that live music has returned to the Lake Geneva area in force! Here are a few places to check out live music performances this summer:

Christopher T. Buttleman Amphitheater, Lake Geneva – This brand-new outdoor bandshell on County Highway H just outside of Lake Geneva is the brainchild of Lake Geneva House of Music owner Chris Buttleman. The summer schedule of events includes an Elvis tribute, a Queen tribute, a Led Zeppelin tribute and a Toby Keith tribute.  Tickets are available at lghom.com/upcoming-events/.

Concerts in the Park, Flat Iron Park, Lake Geneva – The team at VISIT Lake Geneva has been busy booking bands for the Concerts in the Park series in Flat Iron Park through the end of the summer. All shows take place in the gazebo and are free to attend. Upcoming acts include Mr. Myers Band, Swing Nouveau and The Honeygoats, among others. The Belfry Music Theatre, Williams Bay – The perennially popular music theatre, located in a restored church, has several upcoming shows scheduled, including a 60s Rock Tribute, a Fleetwood Mac tribute, a James Taylor tribute and a Phil Collins tribute. Visit belfrymusictheatre.com for more info.

Live entertainment at the Phoenix Park Bandshell, Delavan – The Friends of the Phoenix Park Bandshell in Delavan are sponsoring a series of free music performances throughout the summer. Performances include an Eagles Tribute, a Santana tribute, Tejano band Prestijio, blues band Under Siege and bluegrass band Piper Road Spring Band, among many others. Music by the Lake, George Williams College of Aurora University, Williams Bay – The popular concert series returns this summer with performances by a cappella sensation Straight No Chaser, the Chicago Philharmonic, Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan and rock band The Bacon Brothers.
