Spring 2025 Festivals and Events in the Lake Geneva Area

The flowers are beginning to bloom and there’s a hint of spring in the air — get out and explore the beautiful Geneva Lake area with entertaining events around the lake. From taste-testing delicious dishes at area eateries during Restaurant Week to wellness workshops and a fashion show during Women’s Weekend, spring is a fantastic time to discover new activities in and around Lake Geneva!

April 19: Lyons Township Fire Department 18th Annual Pancake Breakfast

When: Saturday, April 19, 8 a.m. to noon

Where: Town of Lyons, 6339 Hospital Rd., Burlington

Details: Start your day with an all-you-can-eat Pancake breakfast! The price for breakfast is donation based and includes fluffy pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice. There will also be basket raffles, cash raffles, and a gun raffle. 

April 19-27: Lake Geneva Restaurant Week

When: Saturday, April 19 through Sunday, April 27

Where: Participating restaurants in Lake Geneva

Details: Celebrate Lake Geneva’s delicious dining scene by visiting your favorite spots or trying out new ones during Restaurant Week! April 24: Swirl, Sip, Savor: Springtime in a Glass

When: Thursday, April 24

Where: Geneva Tap House, 252 Broad St, Lake Geneva

Details: Stop in for a Spring Wine Tasting! Guests will sample 5 spring wines and tiny bites. Tickets are $25 per person and are available for purchase in person or by calling (262) 812-8099.

April 25-27: 2025 Women’s Weekend Lake Geneva

Where: The Riviera, 812 Wrigley Dr., Lake Geneva and additional venues throughout town

Details: Explore new experiences and create lasting memories with Women’s Weekend Lake Geneva. This year’s theme, “Your Adventure Begins Here,” welcomes guests with a variety of fun dining, shopping and activity experiences. Guests select from activities such as a fashion show, boat cruise brunch, wellness workshops and more. A VIP package add-on is also available.  Proceeds from the event go to the Geneva Lake Women’s Association philanthropic fund to benefit area charities in Walworth County.

April 25-27: Wee Whiskey Fest 2025

When: Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Lodge Geneva National, W4240 WI-50, Lake Geneva

Details: Join fellow whiskey enthusiasts for a weekend of festivities and live entertainment including Scottish bagpiping. The event begins with the Grand Tasting at Lodge Geneva National’s Aspen Ballroom, which will feature 150 premium Bourbons and Whiskies from 50+ distilleries. The weekend also includes multiple dinner pairing options from local restaurants, lively parties and tastings at a variety of local establishments in downtown Lake Geneva. May 5: Geneva Lakes Burger Throwdown

When: Sunday, May 4,  11 a.m. to 3 pm.

Where: Lodge Geneva National, W4240 WI-50, Lake Geneva

Details: Taste-test custom burger samples crafted by over 10 area chefs who will be competing for the Best Burger of 2025. All proceeds will benefit the Badger High School Culinary ProStart Program. May 16–18: Wisconsin Cheese Festival

When: Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Lake Geneva House of Music, N3241 County Rd H, Lake Geneva

Details: Cheese lovers unite for a gathering of cheese makers, farmers, artisans and vendors for the Wisconsin Cheese Festival. The event will pair world-class Americana, country, folk and bluegrass music with whiskey, wine and craft beer and lots of cheese! May 17: Spring Food Truck Festival

When: Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

May 18: Downtown Lake Geneva Spring Wine Walk

When: Sunday, May 18, noon to 4 p.m.

Where: The Bottle Shop, 617 W. Main St., Lake Geneva

Details: Stroll through the streets of beautiful Lake Geneva while sampling wines along the way. Participants will try different wines from dozens of downtown businesses. Event proceeds will benefit the Downtown Lake Geneva, Inc. community event programming. Tickets sell out quickly; visit downtownlakegeneva.org.

May 21: Wine & Dine on the Lake

When: Wednesday, May 21, 5:45-8 p.m.

Where: Lake Lawn Queen, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan

Details: Set sail on board the Lake Lawn Queen for a dinner cruise. Dinner entails a four-course experience with wine and distinct flavors of the Pacific Northwest including Hamachi Crudo, Green Papaya Salad, Cabernet-Braised Short Ribs and more. May 25: 2025 American Legion Post 327 Memorial Weekend Scramble

When: Sunday, May 25, 1 p.m.

Where: Evergreen Golf Club, N6246 US Hwy 12/67, Elkhorn

Details: Honor and celebrate those who have served with a day out on the course. The event features a two-person team, 18-hole scramble, hole events, raffle, a buffet dinner following the round and prizes for first, fourth and eighth places. May 31: Surf-N-Turf Dinner Train

When: Saturday, May 31, 5:30-7:45 p.m.

Where: East Troy Railroad Museum, 2002 Church St., East Troy

Details: Travel along the rails from East Troy to Phantom Lake in Mukwonago while enjoying the scenic ride and a three-course meal. Dinner will begin with a Wisconsin cheese and sausage board and follow with a Raspberry Walnut salad and filet entree topped with sauteed mushrooms, sweet Vidalia onion sauce, garlic lime shrimp, truffle oil potatoes and accompanied by farm-fresh vegetables and dinner rolls. June 6-8: Bacon Fest

When: Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8; 3-10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday

Where: Walworth County Fairgrounds, 411 E. Court St., Elkhorn

Details: The second annual Bacon Fest will include hundreds of vendors and hard-to-find bacon dishes, as well as a beer garden, desserts, activities for all ages and live music each night. Tickets are $15 per person and weekend passes are available for $20 for an individual or two for $25. VIP tickets (called VIBE tickets) are available as well.
