2024 Easter Egg Hunts in the Lake Geneva Area

The Easter Bunny will be hopping into town soon! Easter Sunday is on March 31 this year, and there are several fun Easter-related activities beginning this weekend to help kids (and their grownups!) get in the Easter spirit. Whether you’re looking for a classic egg hunt or something more elaborate like a hayride or a ride on a vintage train, there are plenty of options for Easter fun this year.

Below, we’ve rounded up some of the local Easter Egg hunts and activities in the Lake Geneva area for 2024:

Delavan

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, March 30, 9:45 a.m. arrival, 10 a.m. start

Where: Phoenix Park, 111 E. Wisconsin St.

Cost: Free

East Troy

East Troy Railroad Bunny Trains

When: March 23-24, 29-30; trains scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Where: East Troy Railroad, 2002 Church St.

Details:  Board an historic train and take a ride to the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago. Once on board, there will be a scavenger hunt out your windows. At the Elegant Farmer, everyone will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and pose for pictures. On the return trip, all child & toddler ticket holders will receive a gift.

Elkhorn

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, March 23, 8:30 a.m. registration & games; 9 a.m., birth-age 3 egg hunt; 9:10 a.m., age 4-6 egg hunt; 9:20 a.m., age 7-10 egg hunt.

Where: Elkhorn Area High School, 482 E. Geneva St.

Cost: Free

Easter Egg Hay Ride Hunt

When: Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m. to 1p.m.

Where: W3673 County Road ES

Details: Hop on the hayride for an adventure through the countryside to our egg hunt. After the hunt, snap a pic with the Easter Bunny and hang out with farm animals. Enjoy refreshments and donuts.

Fontana

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m.

Where: Duck Pond Recreation Area, Wild Duck Road

Details: Rain or shine. Arrive early to park and find your age group area. The hunt starts promptly at 10 a.m.! Bring your own bakset; eggs are reused so please empty eggs before you leave.

Genoa City

Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs

When: Sunday, March 24, 1 p.m.

Where: Cedar Dale Pet Resort, N1538 N. Daisy Dr., Genoa City

Details: Don’t let Fido feel left out! This Easter egg hunt for DOGS features 1,000 eggs filled with dog treats and coupons. Parking available at Big Toy Storage north of the resort. Friendly dogs welcome; must be leashed and cleaned up after.

Lake Como

Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt

When: Sunday, March 31, 9:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m

Where: Geneva National Clubhouse, 1221 Geneva National Ave., Lake Geneva.

Details:  The whole family can enjoy an elegant Easter Brunch complete with an Easter egg hunt and a photo opportunity with Peter Cottontail.

Lake Geneva

Spring Egg Hunt Expedition

When: Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 4 pm.

Where: Lake Geneva Ziplines and Adventure Park, N3232 Co. Road H.

Details: Spring Egg Hunt Expedition allows kids ages 4 and up to weave through the trees and discover treasures along the way. Adventures start on the hour.

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, March 30, 10:30 a.m.

Where: Seminary Park, 521 Baker St. (in case of inclement weather, event will take place at the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA)

Details: Ages 0-10, separated into four age groupings. Also includes a raffle featuring fantastic baskets and a special appearances by McGruff the Crime Dog the Easter Bunny
