The Keefe Kares Foundation, the charitable arm of Keefe Real Estate, has announced the annual Keefe Kares Celebration, to be held Friday, November 5 at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, starting at 5:30p.m. The event will also be simultaneously broadcast as a live-stream event.
This year’s event, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” will include a silent and live auction and a paddle raise, while highlighting some of the individual nonprofit organizations that will benefit from the funds raised. The annual community fundraiser spotlights local nonprofit organizations — this year the event will focus on supporting area homeless shelters. Those Keefe Kares-supported nonprofits include: Burlington Transitional Living Center; Community Action Inc. of Rock and Walworth Counties; New Beginnings APFV; Spirit of Hope Homeless Shelter; and Turning Point, Inc. All proceeds from the event will benefit these organizations and 30 additional local nonprofits. Entertainment will be provided by renowned magician Tristan Crist.
According to Keefe Real Estate President and CEO, Tom Keefe, “We’re always excited to hold our annual Keefe Kares Celebration, and we’re even more excited to be back in-person for our event, while also still offering a virtual option for those who cannot join us at Geneva National.” He adds, “With everything that has happened across the world over the past year, it’s important for us to continue to bring much-needed assistance to those in our local community.”

Keefe Kares’ mission is to support local nonprofits that work to improve their direct communities. The Keefe Kares annual fundraising event will benefit more than 30 nonprofit organizations in Southeastern Wisconsin and McHenry County in Illinois, where Keefe conducts real estate brokerage business.
