Summer isn’t over yet – there are plenty of festivals in the Geneva Lake area to keep you busy through the month of August, and satisfy every craving from funnel cake to German beer. We’ve made a list of some of the can’t-miss local festivals taking place over the next four weeks. Which one(s) will you add to your social calendar?

DAS Fest

August 4-6, 2023

Willkommen to DAS Fest USA, THE #1 German celebration of the summer in Walworth County, Wisconsin!  Centrally located between Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago, DAS Fest USA is situated in the middle of a picture-perfect vacation destination.  Come raise a stein to support charitable organizations and #DiscoverYourDeutsch!

Highlights: Free admission, German beer and food, dog races, 17 bands across three stages, a 5K run/walk, BINGO, axe throwing, a stein-hoisting competition and more.

Williams Bay Lions Club Corn & Brat Fest

August 11-13, 2023

Starting as a small corn roast over 50 years ago, this festival is now a three-day event with multiple music acts performing every afternoon and evening. On Saturday night, enjoy the big fireworks show over Williams Bay. We look forward to seeing you at the park and catching up with old friends or introducing you to new ones at this Williams Bay tradition.

Highlights: Brats and roasted corn from Pearce’s Farm Stand, a beer tent, fireworks and musical acts including Hobie and the Leftovers, Rock Central House Band, JFK, Toys and Big Al Wetzel Band.

Tall Tales Music Festival

August 11-12, 2023

Tall Tales Music Festival is a free, all-ages live music festival, featuring some of the best emerging talent from around the country. In addition to live music, we also offer a variety of activities for kids, including free music workshops, games, and art stations, plus plenty of food and drink vendors on site throughout the weekend.

Highlights: This free music festival features live music all weekend, plus free workshops on music and art.

Art in the Park

August 12-13, 2023

Art in the Park is a juried, fine-art show featuring more than 80 distinguished artists exhibiting a variety of media, including clay/pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, oil/acrylic painting, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor and wood.

Highlights: Enjoy this great opportunity to view and purchase some exceptional art in a beautiful lakefront setting.

Venetian Fest

August 16-20, 2023

2023 marks the 61st anniversary of the Lake Geneva Jaycees’ Venetian Festival. The five-day festival, including carnival rides, food stands, a beer tent and live music, takes place in picturesque downtown Lake Geneva.

Highlights: Craft fair, carnival, waterski show, traditional festival food and a beer tent featuring live music. This is all capped off on Sunday evening with a traditional Venetian-style, lighted boat parade followed by the area’s largest fireworks display over Geneva Lake.

Walworth County Fair

Welcome to one of Wisconsin’s oldest and largest county fairs… the internationally acclaimed Walworth County Fair. Established in 1849 and located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, the Walworth County Fair welcomes you to join in the celebration, showcasing excellent food, exhibits, entertainment, and fun for the whole family!

Highlights: Tractor pulls, a demolition derby, a rodeo, a carnival, music concerts and the award-winning interactive Barnyard Adventure Area for families.
